Ignatius George MacAtee was the oldest of 8 children born to Captain Henry John and Theresa "Treacy" (Wheeler) MacAtee. Ignatius was first married to Marie Butler on February 11, 1824, she having been born June 2, 1801 and died on December 30,1832. They had 5 children. He secondly married Margaret Smith (Johnson) MacAtee on 11 Apr 1836 and they had 8 children. Their daughter Mary Jane MacAtee is buried close by. She was born 2 Jun 1829 in Harford Co., MD and died there on 7 Aug 1847. Their daughter Anna Maria MacAtee was born 15 Oct 1839 in Harford Co., MD and died there on 9 Dec 1902. She married John Walter Streett, Sr. (1825 - 1876) on 21 Jan 1862 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Pylesville, Harford Co., MD. John Walter Streett, Sr. was born in Harford Co., MD on 23 Dec 1825 to William Streett and Mary Eliza (Crook) Streett. He died in Harford Co., MD in Dec 1876.
Children of John Walter and Anna (MacAtee) Streett and their spouses buried in the same cemetery are: Margaret Elizabeth Streett (1862 -1883) who married R. F. Harkins in Nov 1882 and died in Aug 1883. William Ignatius Streett, Sr. (1864 - 1949) married Mary Theresa Meyer in MD on 30 Dec 1890. Mary Virginia Streett, born Jul 1866, died Aug 1866. John Walter Streett, Jr. (1867 - 1941) married Mary Cassandra Ady on 18 Feb 1889. Lastly, Sarah Augusta Streett.

Ignatius G. and Teresa (Butler) Macatee were natives of Harford county, Maryland, where Ignatius followed agricultural pursuits all his life, dying in 1875, when seventy-five years of age, having been born in 1800. He was an excellent citizen and one whose character was above reproach. His father, Henry Macatee, was also born in the State of Maryland, and was a Revolutionary soldier, being Captain of a company. Three children were born to this estimable couple, Henry, Teresa, and William. After Teresa's death, Ignatius was married again, this time to Miss Margaret Johnson, who bore him six children, as follows: Josiah, Samuel, Ignatius G., George, Charles Augustus, and Ann Maria.
