Clarence L. Burgett, 83, 3601 Spring Road, died Wednesday in Carlisle Hospital.
A native of Middlesex Township, he was a farmer and attended the Carlisle Farmers Markets for more than 60 years. He was a life member of St. Matthias Lutheran Church and Sunday school and was a former member of the church council. He was the widower of Ethel Wetzel Burgett.
He is survived by two daughters, Alice Gutshall, 3541 Spring Road, and Ruth M. Shaffer, Harrisburg; a son, F. Clyde Burgett, 3605 Spring Road; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere St., with the Rev. William Butts officiating.
Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
Funeral may call at the funeral home Friday evening.
