Mrs. Alta Burgett Wert, the wife of Earl W. Wert, Carlisle, R.D. 3, died this morning in her home after an illness of six weeks.
Mrs. Wert, who was 44 years old, regularly conducted a stall at the market house. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ida Wolf Burgett, and was a member of the Carlisle Springs Lutheran Church and Sunday School.
Besides her husband, she leaves three children, Marie, Lee and Dorothy, all at home; a brother, Clarence Burgett, Carlisle Star Route, and a sister, Mrs. John Hoy, Carlisle, R.D. 2.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the J.R. Shulenberger funeral home, with burial in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call at Shulenberger's on Monday night.
