Juanita Taylor 77, of Columbia died Saturday, Jan 27, 1996, at Lenoir Retirement Health Center in Columbia. She was born Aug 1, 1918 in Iberia to Clarence and Cora Adams Casey. On Aug 11, 1941, she was married in Richland to Dr. Lewis A. Taylor Jr., who survives at the home.

Mrs. Taylor was a 2939 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia and taught high school in several school districts, including Mexico, Mo. She was a member of the Marshfield First Baptist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post _05 at Cole Camp. She lived at Cole Camp briefly and then Marshfield before moving to Columbia.

Other survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Henage of Columbia; a son, Dr. Lewis A. Taylor III of Denton, Tex.; a sister, Martha Gertrude Bunge of Springfield; a brother, George John Casey of Springfield; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp with the Rev. Marc Hibbard officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery at Cole Camp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Taylor Scholarship Fund for Cole Camp High School.
