Obituary - John C. Kollett, 83, of Main Street, Yaphank, died Friday at Suffolk infirmary in Yaphank after an illness.
Born in Providence, R.I., Mr. Kollett had lived in the Yaphank vicinity for 25 years. He had retired as a fireman at the Suffolk Infirmary.
He is survived by a son, Charles, of Yaphank; two brothers, Melvin, of Melville, Mass., and Fred, of Oxbridge, Mass., and five grandchildren.
Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Yaphank by the rector, the Rev. Willard Kyle. Interment was in St. Andrews cemetery, Yaphank.
