Garner - Burkholder.

A quiet wedding occurred in Hastings, Wednesday afternoon, November 17th, at 2:30 P.M., when Miss Bessie Garner, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Garner, was united in marriage to Marion Burkholder. The ceremony took place at the Presbyterian church, Rev. C.E. Newell officiating.

Both parties have been residents near here for years and in no need of introductions. The bride made numberless friends while a student at the high school and she is held in the highest esteem by them all. The groom lived with his parents, west of town for many years and is well liked and respected by his numerous friends.

We understand that they will make their home at Trenton, after December 25th, and all Bladen folks extend their regards for a happy wedded life.
