Emil Charles Voss, 86, 2621 Davenport Ave., Davenport, was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday night at Davenport Osteopathic Hospital.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday in the McGinnis Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Voss had formerly operated the Voss Garage for 15 years. He was later a machinist at the Bendix Co., Davenport, retiring 10 years ago.
He was born in Eldridge. He married Mary Triebel in Kahoka, Mo. Nov. 13, 1941.
Mr. Voss is survived by his wife; daughters, Mrs. Richard (Darlene) White and Mrs. Thomas (Julia) Sanders, both of Davenport, and Rosemary, at home; sons, Alfred C., Riverside, Calif., and Arthur, Davenport; 17 grandchildren; a brother, Edward, Bradenton, Fla.; and sisters, Mrs. George (Ella) Andresen and Mrs. Henry (Emma) Sass, both of Davenport, and Mrs. Waldo Hanssen, Moline.
