Arthur E. Voss, 84, of 2107 W. Lombard St., Davenport, died Monday, May 20, 1991, at Mercy Hospital, Davenport.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Private burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, Davenport.
Mr. Voss was born Nov. 28, 1906, in Scott County, Iowa, the son of Emil and Emma Daasch Voss. He married Irma Lamprecht March 14, 1942, in Canton, Mo.
He owned and operated an automobile garage, retiring in 1968.
He was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Davenport Moose. In his early years, he participated in auto racing.
He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include the widow; daughters, Dolores Orr, LeClaire, Iowa, and Janet Bellman, Rock Island; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pearl Uchtorff, Bettendorf.
