Mrs. Elizabeth Allensworth died Wednesday morning, February 14, 1912, at the home of her son, S. Kay Allensworth, aged 66 years. She had been in feeble health for a number of years, but one week before her death she suffered an attack of catarrhal pneumonia and was quite ill from that time until her death.

Mrs. Allensworth was the daugther of Mr. Coleman and Mrs. Polly Gill, and was born near Allensville in 1846, and in 1865 was married to Stephen Allensworth. She had lived all her life in Todd County. Mr. Allensworth died some years ago, and since his death she has made her home with her sons, spending most of her time at the home of Mr. Kay Allensworth. She is survived by three sons, Wilbur, Coleman and Kay Allensworth.

Since early girlhood Mrs. Allensworth has been a consistent member of the Christian Church and was a woman of rare traits of character, a loving tender wife and mother, a true warm friend, and a good neighbor. To know her was to love her, and in her death her family, friends, church and community have sustained an irreplaceable loss.
