MRS. BAADE'S FUNERAL SET
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Baade will be held at Wilkirson and Hatch chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. C. Wolff officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Baade, 83, a 65-year resident of Waco, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home, 503 North 5th Street, where she had resided 60 years.
Mrs. Baade was born in Germany, April 9, 1865, and came to the United States with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Blankenstein, when she was four years old. The family settled in Cleburne. Her husband, the late John Baade, died in 1915.
Survivors include three sons, John E. Baade of Fort Worth, Joe G. Baade and William H. Baade, both of Waco; three daughters, Mrs. Mamie Forkel, Miss Rosa Baade and Mrs. Gertrude B. Vahrenkamp, all of Waco; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mary Blankenstein Baade was preceded in death by her parents, Gottfried Blankenstein and Dorothea Herbst Blankenstein; her husband, John Baade; her son, George Conrad Baade; an infant daughter who died in 1887; her brothers, Johannes August Heinrich Blankenstein, Gottfried "Fred" Blankenstein, Paul Johannes Blankenstein, Ernest A. Blankenstein, and Johann Blankenstein; and her sisters, Louise Blankenstein Fink, Marie Hermine Auguste Blankenstein, Lina Blankenstein Schmaltz Schroeder, and Rosalie Blankenstein.
