Daughter of Elzy and Ruth (Wiley) Florey. She married Carl D. Young. She later married Robert Lester Levi Sr. on Oct. 11, 1961, in Bloomington, Ill. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1996, in Peoria.
Her parents, three brothers, three sisters, one granddaughter, one grandson and one great-grandson also preceded her in death.
Surviving are five sons, David L. (Vicki) Young, Stephen M. (Mary) Levi, Robert L. (Cindy) Levi Jr., Daryl L. (Carolyn) Young and Brian K. (Francis) Levi; one daughter, Linda Egan; eight grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Irma was a member of the Poetry Club of Peoria, having numerous works published and winning several awards. She worked as a sales person for many different companies and worked last as a cafeteria employee for District 150 schools.
