MRS LYDIA M BARB---Mrs Lydia M Barb, age 69, years, 9 months and 3 days, passed away at her home in Lamonte, Mo., Dec 13 19943at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning.-

She was married to W A Barb in the year of 1890. To this union, were bprn 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters.Oscar John Barb of the home, Willard Alfred Barb of Sweet Springs, Mrs J L Yount of Warsaw, and Mrs Mary Clesta Harnes, the latter preceded her in death July 10, 1944.-

Her husband preceded her in death Dec 12, 1942.-

Three grandsons, Merlin Barb, Marine Corp, somewhere in the southwest Pacific, Edward Barnes, in the Army, James Yount, Warsaw; two great grandsons,kenneth Lee Yount and Jerry Yount. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs Linnie Kinneson, Bethany, Mo., Oma Miller of Farmington, IL two brothersw, Ed and Jesse Schoonover of Farmington, Ill. Her father and mother , four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.-

Mrs Barb and her husband moved to Benton County in October 1902 and lived in this vicinity until 1914 moving to Knobnoster, and later moving to Lamone where she suffered a stroke October 13, 1942 and was bedfast up until her death Dec 13, 1943. Mrs Barb leaves two sons and one daughter.-

Funeral servicdes were conducted by Rev Albert Gaston of Lincoln, at Mt Pleasant church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Dec 15, 1943 and interment in the church cemetery. Pallbears were; Elmer Lutjen, Jas L Yount, Delbert Fitzpatrick, Earl Rank, J B Yount, and J N Yount.
