Stella Mae Cullers Bailey, 92, of Luray, formerly of Rileyville, passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2018. She was born on May 15, 1926, in Fort Valley and was a daughter of the late Roland F. Cullers and Margaret Estaline Munch Cullers.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Marvin Daniel Bailey; her sister, Madeline Elizabeth Cullers Munch; and her brother, Ira Roland Cullers.
Stella is survived by three sons, Marvin Daniel Bailey Jr. and Cathy Carter Bailey of Sumter, S.C., Randy Jay Bailey and Rich Thompson of Luray, and Jeffrey William Bailey and Amy Brogan Bailey of Stephens City; a sister, Betty and Frank Lambert of Harrisonburg; a brother, Michael and Cindy Cullers of Winchester; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, at the Christ Episcopal Church by the Rev. Cathy Tibbets, with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be private.
