She married Roy David Hendrix at Eula, Searcy County, Arkansas, August 21, 1927.
Floy was a loving and giving person who loved to have her family around her. She enjoyed quilting and gardening and loved to give her garden produce to friends and family.
Floy Hendrix was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy Hendrix, three sons, two sisters, four brothers and one grandson.
Survivors include two sons, Duane Hendrix and wife Pauline of Springdale, Arkansas; Lavern Hendrix and wife Emma of Canyonville, Oregon; one daughter, Anna "Susie" Horton and husband Johnney of Marshall, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; thirty two great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives who will mourn her passing.
Services for Floy will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Roller-Coffman Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Chapel. Burial will be in Witts Springs Cemetery.
