Final Rites Saturday For John Elliott
Funeral rites were held Saturday for John Elliott, Wilmot, who died at Bad Axe General Hospital Tuesday evening, Nov. 18.
Final rites were held at the Pilgrim Holiness Church with Rev. Kenneth Boileau officiating. Burial was in Kingston cemetery.
Mr. Elliott was born in Hillsdale, New York, Sept. 22, 1874. He married Etta Fifer July 10, 1902, at Kingston and the couple lived in the Wilmot community all of their married life.
Surviving, besides his widow, are: a son, Kenneth, of Royal Oak; two daughters, Mina and Margarite, of Detroit; a sister, Mamie Huntley of New York; a grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.
