Nejdeh was the son of Abram Karimi-Masihi and Maryam Yaghobi-Masihi. He was the youngest of five children (siblings are Shahik, Jasmine, Hermik, and Rima) borne to Abram and Maryam. After fleeing Iran and coming to the USA, he established himself in the San Francisco area. Ned earned a degree in electrical engineering but realized he had a knack for the restaurant business. He became the part owner of a Round Table Pizza in Belmont, CA, which he successfully managed up to his untimely death. Ned had contracted hepatitis C from a blood transfusion in Iran. He lived with the disease for over 10 years. Ned and his wife had a beautiful child, Fiona. After his separation, Ned made Fiona his number one priority. However, his liver condition deteriorated. He passed away from cardiorespiratory arrest, brought on by metabolic acidosis, on June 10, 2008. He had just turned 38 three weeks before. His three sisters and mother survive him. An older brother, Shahik, had passed away in 1995.

Ned was a good man, who left us all too soon. His friends and family miss him every single day. Little Fiona, always know your dad loved you more than you can imagine. We will always be here to tell you about your father.
