Hyrum--Funeral services for Rebecca R. Maness, 83, who died Sunday, will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Hyrum First LDS ward chapel by Bishop Joseph W. Wright.
Burial will be in the Hyrum Cemetery, and will be directed by Thompson funeral home.
Mrs. Maness, widow of James Maness, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Hall of Hyrum. Death was attributed to causes incident to age.
Mrs. Maness was born October 21, 1857, in Tishomingo county, Mississippi, a daughter of Drury and Judah Jones Ricketts. She joined the LDS church in 1884, and came to Utah in 1888, settling in Mendon.
Mr. Maness died November 12, 1908.
Surviving are two sons and three daughters: George Maness of Salt Lake City, Phillip Maness and Mrs. Hall of Hyrum, Amanda Gunn of Evanston, Wyo., and Mrs. Mary Goldsberry of Logan, 29 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
