Jamie Chadwick-Ragsdale, affectionately called "GiGi" by her great-grandchildren, was born April 5, 1920, in Altus, Okla. She had three sons and was a lifelong student, taking university classes well into her later years. Jamie retired from General Dynamics after 29 years of faithful service. She was a longtime member of John Knox Presbyterian Church in River Oaks and enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing the piano. Jamie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by her family and numerous friends.
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert W. Sharp Jr. and wife, Addie; husband, Excell Chadwick Sr.; brother, Ronnie Copeland; and sister, Johnnie Morris.
Survivors: Sons, Excell Chadwick Jr. of Fort Worth, Mike and Ann Chadwick of Breckenridge and Dale and Sylvia Chadwick of Fort Worth; special friend, Wanda Narramore of Fort Worth; sisters, Ella Dean Pace of Dayton and Della Peters of Lycomb, Ore.; brother, Gene Copeland of Dayton; grandchildren, Douglas Chadwick and wife, Linda, of Fort Worth, Leslie and Mike Saladino of Flower Mound and Michael Brent Chadwick of Denton; and great-grandchildren, Amber, Zachery, Katelyn and Gabriel.
