DEATH TODAY OF MRS. A. S. SISLEY

Had seen Resident of Keokuk for the Past Nineteen Years, With a Most of Friends Here.

WAS BORN IN MISSOURI

She Been in failing Health for Two
Years and sertoualy III for ths Past Two

France A. Sisley, wife of Arthur S, Sisley of 1117 Fulton street, passed away at her home this morning at 11:30 o'elock following a long illness. Mrs. Sisley had been in failing health for the peat two years and had been seriously ill for two weeks. Death was caused by heart and stomach trouble.

Mrs. Slsley was bora in Clark county, Missouri, on April 11, 1855. Her maiden name was Frances A. Swan and she was married to Arthur S. Sisley at Canton, Mo, on Dee. 10, 1870.and Mrs. Sialey came to Keokuk teteen years ago and had made their home since.

The.decedent is survived by her husband. one son, Arthur L. Sisley of this united and a daughter, Mrs. Lily M. Webb of Quincy, Ill. There are also sex grandchildren living. One daughter is dead. There is also a brother,
Sanford Swan of Wyanet, Ill., and a sister, Mrs. Sarah A. Scott of Mendon, Ill. Mrs. Sisley possessed a host of friends, and acquaintances in Keokuk, and they will be sincerely grieved to hear of her death. Although ill for the past two years, and she bore her suffering patiently, and passed away peacefully. She was held in high "can't read" esem here, and sympathy of the community has been extended to the greaved family. The funeral arrangements have not been made, waiting word from relatives.
