The Funeral Mass for Kenneth Rauen, 24, was celebrated at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin, Minnesota, Monday, September 3. Burial was in St. John's cemetery, Johnsburg, Minnesota.
Kenneth Lloyd Rauen was born April 6, 1949, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rauen of Adams, Minnesota. He attended the Johnsburg, Minnesota parochial school, graduated from the Adams High School and Austin Community College, attended South Dakota State University, Brookings, South Dakota and attended the University of Wisconsin for a year. He was a member of FFA, mixed choir and received a special award in football, All State MCAA.
He married Susan Locher at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Austin, June 16, 1973, moving to Platteville, Wisconsin June 18 to attend school. Kenneth died August 31, 1973, after an accidental fall a month earlier.
Surviving are his wife, Susan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rauen of Adams; brother-in-law, and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Kathy) Engle, Arvada, Colorado; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Rauen, Adams.
