Erich H. Nortrup, 89, of New Berlin died at 5 p.m. Thursday at his residence. Born in Scott County, Mr. Nortrup was the son of Herman and Matilda Tendick Nortrup. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
He married the former Anna H. Botterbusch in 1917, and she died in January of this year. One sister, Carolyn Westeremeyer, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, Roscoe of New Berlin; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Matilda Kaehlert of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Services at St. John's Lutheran Church, New Berlin, with the Rev. Robert Barth officiating. Burial in Lutheran Cemetery.
