Aug. 5, 2001 at the Maryland Trauma Center in Baltimore, a week after
the accident.
Born March 17, 1988, along with his twin sister, Laura, Alex spent time
in neo-natal care before it was certain that he would survive.
He was active in Boy Scouts, numerous sports and was a favorite
baby-sitter along with his sister, Laura, to a number of neighborhood
children.
He is survived by his parents, David and Denise Hyman, brother, John,
and twin sister, Laura, all of Rockville, Md.; his grandmother, Betty
Hyman of Center Barnstead, N.H.; three uncles, David Hyman of New
Durham, N.H., Mark Hyman of Annapolis, Md., and Arne Hyman of Los
Angeles, Calif. and Center Barnstead, N.H.; and his aunt, Michele Janes
of Rockland, Maine; and other uncles, and aunts and several cousins.
