ADDIE CAROLINE {McKIMMY} -ERVAY - CORBIN
Mrs. Addie C. Corbin, 92, Adrian, died August 8, at Schnepp Nursing Home, Beaverton, following a short illness. Born March 25, 1883, in Lenawee County, she had been a resident of this area the past 2 years. The former Addie McKimmy was married to Melvin Corbin March 29, 1919 and he died in 1951.
Surviving are 2 daughters; a son; 2 step-daughters; a step-son; 29 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. A 7 p. m. service was held Saturday evening at Hall Funeral Home - Beaverton Chapel with the Rev. Henry List officiating. Funeral rites were held Monday at 3 p.m. at Everiss Funeral Home, Adrian, and burial was in Zion Cemetery.

BEAVERTON, Mich. --- Addie C. Corbin, 92, formerly of 340 East Beecher, Adrian, and later of the Masonic Temple apartments in Adrian, died Friday at Beaverton, where she had been living for the past two years. Mrs. Corbin was born March 25, 1883, in Ogden Township, the daughter of Perry and Caroline (Wotring) McKimmy. In March, 1919, she married Melvin Corbin. He preceded her in death in 1951. Mrs. Corbin had been a member of the First Church of the Brethren.She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. James (Thelma) Lee of Kern, Mich., and Mrs. Otto (Vera) Risner of Lewiston, Mich; one son, Cecil Corbin of Manitou Beach; two stepdaughters, Mrs. John (Opal) Losey of Garden City, and Mrs. Forest (Elva) Pifer of Jonesville; one step-son, Wilbur Corbin of Manitou Beach; 29 grandchildren; a member of great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Zeph Ervay, in 1912; a nd by one stepdaughter, Mrs. Wilma Kintner. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Everiss Funeral Home. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday.
