Mary Francis Nethercott Grisamer, a long time resident of Jackson, died on Feb. 2, 1975, at St. John's Hospital at the age of 86.

Mrs. Grisamer was born on March 2, 1889, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Alfred and Ida Ann Nethercott. When she was nine years old the family moved to Jackson Hole, where her father purchased a ranch and ran a ferry boat across the river in Wilson until the bridge was built there. After his death she sold the ranch to her son-in-law David Evans, and moved into town, where she lived until her death.

She is survived by six of her seven children: Theo (Note: Feo) Robertson, Chloe Robertson, Vada Evans, and Eugene Grisamer, all of Jackson; Nola Sneider of Breman, Indiana; and Lon William of Ronan, Montana, 26 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
