Lee Marion King was the son of John
Canada King and Ozine "Wright" King.
He was the grandson of George W.
King and Tennessee "Combs" King and
Burl Henderson Wright and Ann
"Rainwater" Wright.

Lee married Rosa "Revelle" King on
15 August, 1909 at Needmore, Delaware
Co., Oklahoma. (little town doesn't
exist anymore) It is now covered by
Grand Lake.
Rosa was born 11 Nov. 1891 in
Fredricktown, Madison Co., Missouri.
Her parents were Zacharia Alonzo
Revelle and Telitha Ann "Stevens"
Revelle.

To this union there were 7 children born:
Emma Lorena, Bernice Lee, Charles Monroe,
Rosella, J.Z. (known as Jack), William
Revelle, and George Nathan King.

Lee was one of nine children of Lee
and Rosa: His sibblings were:
Hosea Milton
Henry Nathan
John Bertis (Burt)
Amanda Elizabeth (Mandy)
Ada Jane
George Leonard
Tennessee Ann

Lee was a member of the '23 club. He had moved to the
Longview area, Kelso, in 1923 from Tacoma. At the time of his death, his survivors included his wife, Rosa, two daughters, Mrs. Emlma Sheridian of Walla Walla and Mrs.
Rosella Beckwith of Columbia Falls, Mont.; four sons, Charles M. of Longview, Jack Z. and George N., both of
Kelso, Bill W. of Astoria; three sisters,
Mrs. Amanda Dillinger of Afton, Ok., Mrs. Ada Bronson of Yakima, and Mrs. Tennessee Axford of Canby, Ore.;
three brothers, Hosea M. of Canby, Ore., Burt J. of Afton, Okla. and George L. of Hood River, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the
McVicker's Chapel on the Hill with Dr. Robert Warren
officiating.

Lee was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was loved by all
his family and friends.

Lee Marion King was my Great Uncle.
His sister, Amanda 'King' Dillinger was my
grandmother.
I also knew my Great Uncle 'Burt' real well
and I met Great Uncle 'Hose' also. I have
the cedar chest Hose bought for
Amanda (Bitty Ma, his sister) when he was in
Oklahoma visiting. He traveled by train. She passed
it on to my mother and now I have it. I was born and raised in Afton, Oklahoma.
