Mrs. Cordie Aikin

Whitesboro - Services for Mrs. Cordie Elizabeth Aiken, 84, of Midland, a former Whitewright and Whitesboro resident who died Saturday at a Midland hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Huff Funeral Home in Whitesboro. The Rev. Harold Watson of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro will officiate. Burial will be at Whitesboro Cemetery. She was born in Whitewright, and lived in Whitesboro for several years until a few years ago, a funeral home spokesman said. She was married to Charles S. Aiken. Survivors include sons J.C. Aikin of Wink, Charles Aikin of Midland and Hubert Aikin of Waco; daughters, Mrs. John Godwin, Mrs. Rose Craft, Mrs. Joe Kerbey and Mrs. Joe L. Ranne, all of Midland, and Mrs. Larry Dade of Artesia, N.M.; sisters, Misses Mae Ashlock and Robbie Ashlock, both of Dallas; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
