MARY E. HAMLIN PASSES, AGED 84
Mary Elizabeth Hamlin, 84, a native daughter of Oregon, passed away at her home on route 1 in the Independence district late Sunday night after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Hamlin was born at Drain, Oregon, Feb. 7, 1857, and has lived most of that time in southern Oregon. Her husband, George Hamlin, passed away many years ago.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Bertha A. McGrath, of Medford, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. T. J. Hamlin, of Medford.
Funeral services will be conducted from Perl funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. L. F. Belknap officiating.
