Wade Sherrill Howell Sr., 81, of Lenoir, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at his residence.
Mr. Howell was born Oct. 29, 1925, in Caldwell County to Henry J. and Zora Sanders Howell.
He was a retired painter and a member of Heavenly Hope Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bruce Williams; sisters, Alda H. Walker, Carrie Triplett, Louise Howell and Georgia Howell; brothers, Harley and Charlie Howell.
