Mr. Deville was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Deville. He worked 30 years for the State Highway Department. During retirement, he was a School Bus Driver and he worked for Paragon Casino. John Henry enjoyed camping, hunting and roasting pigs for the camp and his family. He loved his family and wanted to spend all the time he could with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, of 61 years, Inez Alwell Deville; parents, Henry V. and Felicity Ryder Deville; brother, Earl Deville; sisters, Edith Mabou, Jane Deville and Doris Paul; son-in-law, Arnold McDowell; great grandchildren, Taylor Cade Basco and Daniel Allen Jackson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Steve Deville and wife, Bobbie and Terry Alwell and wife, Carolyn; daughter, Charlotte McDowell; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 8 great, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
