Kenneth L. Hoffman, 87, of Randolph, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Evanston Regional Hospital.

He was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Randolph, Utah, a son to William Henry and Minerva (Stewart) Hoffman. Kenneth was married to Helen Marr Cox Hoffman in Woodruff, Utah on Feb. 2, 1940. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple in March 1941. Mrs. Hoffman passed away on Dec. 21, 2005.

Ken was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After retiring from FMC, he enjoyed yardwork, tinkering on projects around the ranch and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Richard W. (Charmaine) Hoffman, Randolph, Utah; Gordon E. (Lynn) Hoffman, South Jordan, Utah; a daughter, Louise Pickard, Castle Rock, Colo.; two sisters, Freda Kearl, Layton, Utah; Ila Groll, Logan, Utah; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, a son, Charles Hoffman; two brothers, Ivan and Wes Hoffman; a sister, Leta Barnes; and a great-great-granddaughter, Hadlee Ann Hoffman.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Randolph LDS Church. A viewing will be held at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, from 6-8 p.m., and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at the Randolph Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
