WOOD---BALLINGER---Hazel Wood, 85, of Fort Worth, formerly of Ballinger, died Saturday afternoon in a Fort Worth hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Rains-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Old Runnels Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 22, 1893 in Lee County and was married to Marshall Wood Aril 8, 1920 in Ballinger. He died Jan. 25, 1978.
Survivors include a daughter, Gervis Stanley of Fort Worth; a son, Sam Wood of Stephenvill; three sisters, Theresa Payne of Clyde, Henrietta Killpatrick of Killeen and Mae Radford of Atlanta, Ga.; 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
