Jasper Ozial Griffin was the son of Jasper William (JW) Griffin and Jinett (Buchner) Griffin born in Deerfield, Mecosta Co., MI. He married Zelma Irene Allison on April 17, 1907 in Morley, Mecosta Co., MI. They had 7 children, Chester, Franklin Ozial, Adelbert Ray, Eslie Estella, Fredie and Freida twins born in March 1918 and died Mar 1918 and Nina May Griffin. Jasper passed away at Grand Rapids Hospital and his funeral was held at the Roth Funeral Home in Lowell, Michigan by Reverend H. S. Martin with interment in Altona Cemetery.
