Peter Watson Griffin was the son of Jasper William, (JW) Griffin and Jinett Buchner (Griffin). He married Vevah Faust on June 1, 1911 in Morely, Mecosta Co., MI. Together they had three children, William Mart Jasper, Lyn Edward and Margaret Jennett "Marion" Griffin. He was employed by the Nash Kelvinator in Grand Rapids until ill health forced him to retire as well as farming. He passed away at Saints Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI at the age of 67 after a hospital stay of 10 days. He was survived by his wife, Vevah, one daughter, Miss Marian Griffin; two sons, Mart of Kalamazoo and Lynn of Lake Odessa; one sister, Constance Beebe of Rockford; five brothers, John of Virgnia, Minnesota; Henry of Coloma; Ozial of Lowell; Delbart of Portland and Roy of Holt; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His Funeral was held Tuesday at 2 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with burial in Lakeside Cemetery
