JOHN W. COULTER
WESTVILLE -- John W. Coulter, 92, RFD 1, died at his home Sunday after a lingering illness.
Born at Westville on July 17, 1876, a son of Caleb and Fannie (Hesser) Coulter, he married Celesta Jane Peck in Porter county on Jan. 11, 1899. She preceded him in death on Dec. 2, 1963.
He was a member of the Westville Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cloyd Tipton, Gary, Mrs. Lawrence Walsh, Merrillville, and Mrs. Rodney Swartz, Flint, Mich.; a son, Glenn Coulter, RFD 1, Westville; 13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist church with the Rev. John Mull officiating. Burial will be in Westville cemetery.
Friends may call at the Weaver Funeral home from 1 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday, and then at the church.
