EAST LIVERPOOL - June Heddleston Wooley, 87, of Orchard Grove Avenue, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at 5:45 a.m. at the Beaver Medical Center where she was a patient for one week.
Born in East Liverpool, July 15, 1917, daughter of the late Robert S. and Gertrude Cawood Woodyard Heddleston, she was a lifelong resident of the area. ?She worked at the former Patterson Industries as secretary to the chief engineer for 20 years and later worked at the Family Recovery Center for 19 years.? She currently worked at the East Liverpool Health Department.
A third generation member of the First United Methodist Church, she was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1935 as well as the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association.? She was also a member of the Lady Elks of Lodge #258.
A daughter survives, Mrs. Richard (Marvann) Plumley of East Liverpool and a son, Peter Wooley and his wife Linda of Woodland Hills, Calif.? There are three grandchildren, Stephanie Angelini and her husband Richard, Christopher Wooley and his wife Carmel and Emily Kelly. Three great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition, two sisters survive, Katheryn Marrelli and Mary Lee Heddleston, both of East Liverpool and a brother, George W. Heddleston of Alliance.
Two sisters, Helen Heddleston Kapp and Margaret Heddleston preceded her in death, along with two brothers, Richard R. Heddleston and Robert H. Heddleston.
Friends may call Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.?The Rev. Dave Maly of the First United Methodist Church will officiate a funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.? Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center following the services.
