He was born Aug. 16, 1924 in East Liverpool, OH, to Robert S. and Gertrude Woodyard Heddleston and graduated from East Liverpool High School.
He was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Segel Heddleston, whom he married Jan. 14, 1945; five children; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters Kathryn Marrelli and Mary Lee Heddleston, both of East Liverpool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, Alliance, OH, with Rev. John Ferris and Rev. David Hostetler co-officiating of Christ United Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
