Richard Taylor, aged 92 years, died at the home of his son, Edward Taylor, six miles southwest of Mound Valley, Wednesday evening at 11 o'clock.
He received a stroke of paralysis about two weeks ago and gradually grew worse until death came.
The funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, at the home, by Rev Mr McKinzie of the M E church and the remains will be interred at Cherryvale.
Father Taylor had been a resident of this township for eighteen years, and is well known in the community, west of town.
An aged wife, three sons, John, Edward and Newton Taylor are left to mourn the death of a loved and respected father.
