He was a handyman who did everything from breaking mules, butcher, truck driver, mechanic, ice man, and landscaper in Oak Cliff, Texas. He was a veteran of World War I. He was known to his family and grand children as "Little Dad".
He is survived by one son, Robert E. North of Garland, Tx, two daughters Mrs. Margurete Eshleman of Kemp, Tx; Mrs. Juanita Warren of Dallas, Tx; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers Jack North of Tyler, Tx; Alanzo North of New Braunfields; sisters, Mrs. Eunice Osteen of New Braunfields, Tx; Mrs. Winnie Leese of San Antonio.
Chapel services will be Wednesday, Jan 21, 1976. Rev. Robert Wallace officiating, and Internment will be at Laural Land in Dallas, Tx under direction of Dudley M. Hughes Funeral Home, 400 E. Jefferson, Dallas, Tx.
