Mrs. Flora Storholt, 85, died Friday at the Clearview Nursing Home in Tacoma after an extended illness.
Mrs. Storhold was born on March 15, 1897, at Richland Center, Wis., the daughter of Herman O. and Flora Bell Wilson. The family lived at Richland Center for a number of years then moved to David City, Neb.
Mrs. Storhold graduated from high school there in 1917, then moved to Lewiston where she received a teaching certificate from Lewiston Normal School (now Lewis-Clark State College). She taught school at Wells Bench near Orofino for many years.
She married Joseph Storholt on Jan 8. 1925. He died in 1941.
In 1961, Mrs. Storholt moved to Alaska to live with her daughter, then returned to Lewiston in 1964. She moved to Tacoma in 1972 to live with her son.
Survivors include a daughter, Joann Ramer of LaFayette, Ore.; three sons, Richard of Tacoma; Darrell of New Jersey, and Wayne of New Mexico; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her husband and a daughter preceded her in death.
