Clarkston Citizen Expired a Few Minutes After Being Taken Ill
While in town yesterday afternoon, Mr. James Baldwinj, son of A.J. Baldwin, was suddenly taken ill. He was carried into the Concord House and died within an hour.
Mr. Baldwin returned from Pendleton a few days ago and was in apparently good health until a couple of hours before his death when he complained of severe pains in his head and of faintness.
He was assisted to a room in the hotel and medical aid summoned., but failed rapidly and died in a short time after reaching the hotel. Drs. Whitford and Van Zandt each examined the body and agreed in their diagnosis in that the cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage and it is probable that no coroner's inquest will be held.
