Devoted brother of Miss Antoinette and Mr. Herbert Atzinger; also survived by 1 niece and 4 nephews. Friends may call at the W. G. Hardy Shively Chapel, 4101 Dixie Hgwy. after 12 noon Thursday. Funeral services Saturday, September 28th at 9 a.m. at St. Basil Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Members of the parish will recite the rosary Friday at 8:30 p.m. at the chapel.

George E. Atzinger, a retired foreman for the United States Government, was found dead in bed at his home, 2240 Farnsley Road, about 9 a.m. Wednesday. He was 56. Deputy Coroner, Lloyd Roemele said death apparently resulted from natural causes, but an autopsy would be performed. Atzinger retired about six years ago. His last job was as a fireman at the old Nichols Hospital. He was a native Louisvillian and a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. Surviving are a sister, Miss Antoinette Atzinger, and a brother, Herbert Atzinger. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Basil Church. Burial will be (9-28-1963) in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.
