Nancy Jane Beam, 86, of the Todd Home and formerly of Carlisle Road, Gardners, passed away Monday July 28 in the home. She was the widow of Kenneth L. Beam.
She was born May 16, 1922 in Philadelphia to her adoptive parents J. Willis and Margaret Sterner Weigle.
She was a member of the Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, and active in the Christian Endeavor. She was a former superintendent of the primary department and taught Sunday School. Member of the Ladies Bible Class, Ladies Aid, Gettysburg Walking Club and the Biglerville Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her sister-in-law and husband, Naomi and Donald Brehm of Gardners; her niece, Lori Brehm of Gardners and her nephew, Rick Brehm of Mechanicsburg.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31st at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs with the Rev. Kenneth G. Swick officiating. Interment in the Goodyear cemetery. Luncheon to follow graveside services at her church. Viewing Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM and from 10 AM until time of service on Thursday.
