Religious services were held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with Interment in the Cheramie Cemetery.
He was the husband of the late Angele Chouest Cheramie; stepfather, of Mrs. Norecia Rebstock, Lawrence Chouest, Mrs. Lorica Osowick; brother of Camille Cheramie, Mrs. Julien Boudreaux, and Mrs. Emile Cheramie. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
