Daughter of Cyrus Chase from New York, mother's maiden name Qilliams. wife of Sigvart Olson.

Aged 94 years 2 months, coronary occlusion.

"Evaline 'Eva' E. Jenks was the daughter of Cyrus Chase Jenks (1808-1897) from New York state and Elizabeth Quilliam (????-1849) from England, who were married circa 1832. Eva had several siblings and half-siblings.

Circa 1875, Evaline married Sigvart Olson (1851?-late 1890's) and the 1900 census indicates she had four children, but only her son Robert Sigvart Olson was still living.

A historical note: Eva's half-brother Orrin R. Jenks was one of the original Presidents of Mendota College (Mendota, Ill.) and was instrumental in its subsequent move to Aurora College (Aurora, Ill.) which was later re-named Aurora University." --contributed by Russell Thompson (#48252889)
