North - Virginia H. Marlowe, 85, of North, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ashton Feagin officiating. Burial will be in Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Mrs. Marlowe was born in Neeses, a daughter of the late Lou Ella Hutto. She was married to the late John C. Bourne and to the late Millard S. Marlowe. She was a member of North Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was retired from Stone Manufacturing Company. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Joan Bourne, of North; two granddaughters, Mrs. Joe (Jennifer) Clary, of Greenwood, and Shanna Bourne, of Cordova; a sister, Melba Price, of Williston; a nephew, Larry Price; and two nieces, Deborah Price and Annette Thompson. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Bourne, 8112 Salley Road, North.
