Neeses - Bert Heyward Hallman, 73, of Route 1, Neeses, died Wednesday at Orangeburg-Calhoun Regional Hospital in Orangeburg. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Beulah Holiness Church, with the Rev. Emery Martin, Rev. Robert Frederick and Rev. E. Heape officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church an hour before the service. Pallbearers will be Roy Barr Sr., Harry Holman Jr., Frank Holman, Linzy Hallman, Billy Barr and O'Neal Barr. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Mount Beulah Men's Bible Class. Mr. Hallman was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Lee Hallman and Viola Hutto Hallman. He attended Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church. He owned and operated the Yemasse Pulpwood Co. and the Hallman Timber Co. in Swansea for a number of years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Kathryn Barr Hallman of the home; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
