William age 68, one of Gulfport's earliest residents, died suddenly Friday afternoon at the Carpenter's Hall on 25th Street.
William is a native of New Orleans, but had resided in Gulfport for 35 years. He first came to the Coast about 40 years ago, residing in Biloxi and later moving to Gulfport. Carpenter by trade he was financial secretary of the Carpenters' Union No. 1518 of Gulfport, a post he held at the time of his death. He was also a Woodmen of the World.
