Linda Kaye Wolfley, 40, of Afton died Dec 23 at the Star Valley Hospital of cancer. Funeral services were conducted Dec 26 at the Grover Ward. Burial was under the direction of Schwab Mortuary in Grover, WY.
She was born Feb 3, 1946 in Afton to Arthur (August) and Bryle Thorton Dabel. She married Bruce Wolfley in June of 1963, the were later divorced in 1981.
She enjoyed living and being part of Star Valley and dearly loved the Grover community where she and her family lived until moving to Etna in 1974. She became more and more interested in continuing her education and went to Logan, Utah and then Wichita Falls, TX. Following her divorce she moved from the valley and worked. For health reasons she moved to Salt Lake in September 1986 and lived with her daughter before returning to the valley in November.
Surviving are two daughters and one son; Mrs Clyde (Wendy) Greatorix Afton, Mrs Steve (Sandy) Madsen, Salt Lake and Cory Wolfley, Etna; mother Bryle Dabel, Idaho Falls; three sisters Mrs Gerald (Joyce) Russell, Idaho Falls, Nancy Anderson, Boise, Mrs Gordon (Dixie) Soper, Aurora, CO; rtwo brothers John Dabel and Dirk Dabel, and one grandchild.
