Funeral Services Friday Afternoon For J. R. Threatt
James R. Threatt, 65, died Wednesday night in Veterans Hospital in Columbia following a long illness.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the First ARP church of Lancaster, of which he was a member, by the pastor, the Rev. A. B. Love, assisted by the Rev. James F. Burriss. Burial will be in West Side Cemetery.
Mr. Threatt is survived by his wife, the former Miss Ella Steele; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon L. Bowers and Mrs. R. B. Hegler, Jr., both of Lancaster; and one son, Raeford P. Threatt, also of Lancaster.
The body will be taken from Holland's Funeral Home to the family residence Friday morning at 10 o'clock to remain until the hour of the funeral.
