Denver Resident Dies October 3

Mrs. Ella Abrahams Bassett was born June 17, 1880 in Alfta, Sweden and died October 3, 1964, in Denver, Colo., at the age of 84 years.

She was united in marriage to Hans Abrahams in 1907 and to this union one son, Milton was born. Hans died in 1921. She was married to Richard S. Bassett in 1928.

She lived in the Wayne community until moving to Denver in 1912. She was a member of the Seven Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and eight brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Milton Abrahams of Pacifaco, Cal., and two sisters-in-laws, Mrs. Ida Nelson and Mrs. Olive Abrahams, both of Belleville and two brothers-in-laws, J.W. Frint, Belleville and Clarence Abrahams of Overland Park, Kan.

Funeral services were held at the Howard Mortuary in Denver, Colo., on Monday, October 5 at 9:00 a.m. Graveside services were held at Wayne, Kan., on October 6, at 10:00 a.m. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery (sic). Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Home in charge.
